Waking up on my first mother's day next to you was such an indescribable feeling! Thank you so much for making me a mommy. Being able to experience that special love with you is the best part of my life. At just 9 months old, you do things that make me feel so special and loved, like when you are laying in your crib for bedtime or nap time and you hold your hand out with your eyes closed so that you can reach out for my hand and hold on to it, so that you can fall asleep faster. That gives me butterflies every time you do it. I look forward to spending many more mother's days with you and I hope the next few years won't go by too fast so that I can enjoy them.
Last night when I was holding you while you were falling asleep on my first mother's day I was thinking...I love that you are all mine, but I also know that you can only be completely mine for now. One day you'll grow up and will fall in love with someone and have your own baby, and will be dedicated to your own family and career. Despite that, I want you to know that I am completely yours forever.
I love you with all of my heart and soul.
