My little Valentine
Dylan was the perfect little Valentine! He must have felt the love in the air because he was extra lovable & affectionate with me today and we had the best day together! He had his first big boy haircut, we treated him to lunch, and I was in heaven when I got to hold him & take a nap together today! He even gave me a beautiful album of highlights of his 1st year. I know that the day will come when he will not want his mommy to be his valentine as much as I would hope he will, but for now I am so happy to have him be my little date, along with all the great big hugs and kisses he gives me on days like today!

1st time at the LA Zoo!!
We took Dylan to the zoo for the 1st time with his bf Ethan and Jen and Eric. The boys had such a great time!! And so did Dylan and Ethan! haha just kidding :) They were very into seeing all the animals and had a great time riding the carousel. Dylan especially loved the giraffes and flamingos! We thought they would be tired by the end of the day, but Dylan and Ethan kept the party going in the car by headbanging, screaming and laughing almost all the way home! I'll try to post the video of that soon.
Friday night with Uncle Jonny!
Uncle Jonny called us up to see if we wanted to spend Friday night with him so he could spend some time with Dylan. Great idea! He took us to Bruxie's in Downtown Brea since he has been obsessed with it (it is delicious!! and so fattening i'm sure!) and then we walked around with Dylan so he could people watch with us and get some dessert.
New Years Eve
There wasn't too much going on for New Years Eve (unless it's because we have a baby now!), so we went out to dinner with the family at WoodRanch and then came back to our house for the countdown. It's always special bringing in the New Year with family :)
Christmas time!
Every Christmas Eve we spend the night at my parents house. I am yet to spend the night at my own home since I moved out, and I don't want to! We have so much fun taking turns putting our gifts under the tree in the middle of the night while each other family member is sleeping and then waking up the next morning exchanging gifts. I also make my special breakfast pizza and cinnamon rolls every year for us to enjoy after we open gifts. After that, we usually have Geno's family over our house Christmas day for a special lunch I prepare. Dylan had so much fun this year passing gifts to people and helping out. He got so excited that he wanted to kiss the Christmas tree in the morning before doing gifts!
Annual fondue night
Every December the week before Christmas, the Lozano fam and us have a tradition in which we have a "fondue night". This tradition started almost 5 years ago when we first got married in our first apartment. Although it started with just the four of us, now this was our second year where Ethan and Dylan are part of the tradition too! They get to exchange Christmas gifts together while we enjoy our yummy homemade fondue. We look forward to this every year, and it will be so special to continue doing this for years to come!
